Starting on Saturday 21st December we are starting club Mountain Bike Rides.
The rides will start from the Bungay Buttercross at 9:30am and take around 2 hours, finishing at the Bungay Buttercross.
We are hoping to run Mountain Bike rides on the last Saturday of each month.
The first ride is a route called ‘The Standard Angle’ and we’ll be riding it clockwise and it will have 14 off road sections. There will also be sections on-road. The riding style is slightly different from the road group – single file, leaving gaps between other riders and finding your own line.
Riders who take part are expected to be courteous to pedestrians and horse riders – giving way, slowing down or stopping completely if necessary.
All riders take part at their own risk and we advise that you wear a helmet for this ride and suitable cyclist clothing. There is no cafe stop so please ensure that you have enough food, water for the duration of the ride. We suggest that you also take puncture repair equipment, multi-tools, inner tube etc that you might need on the ride.
You don’t need to be a member of the club to take part in the ride – we’d appreciate you getting in touch with us before the ride to let us know to help with ride numbers.
Riders must be over 18 to take part in the ride.
