Annual Hill Climb

The club runs an annual Godric hill climb each October, this year on Sunday 11th. It takes place on Long Lane at Stoke Holy Cross. The start is just outside of the village hall and finished 0.9 miles at the top of the hill – both the start and the finish are marked. The event is a a come and try it event.

The event is hosted at the Stoke Holy Cross Church Hall and refreshments are available.

The course records are:

  • Men: Will Bamber 2mins 13.5 seconds
  • Women: Sally Withey 3mins 8.9 seconds
  • Juniors: Tom Power 2 mins 24.8 seconds

– Sign on: 10:30am
– Start: 11:00am
– Course Details: Course is Long Lane with the start right outside the Church Hall and finish 0.9 mile from the start at the top of the hill.

Each year the sunday club run meets and rides out to the hill climb to allow club members to take part in the event and then rides back to Bungay.
